About this Exhibit
Sounds from Tomorrow’s World: Sun Ra and the Chicago Years 1946-1961 is an extension of a 2009-10 Regenstein Library exhibit curated by Andrew Rea entitled Sun Ra: ‘My Story Is Mystery.’ It has been curated by Andrew Rea and designed by Kerri Sancomb. Assistance was provided by Daniel Meyer, David Pavelich and Deborah Gillaspie. This exhibit would not have been possible without the scholarly work of Robert L. Campbell, John Corbett, and Harmut Geerken and Christopher Trent.
Detailed contents of the Alton Abraham Papers of Sun Ra can be found using the collection’s online finding aid.
