Vesta Jameson

Vesta Jameson was born on February 21, 1886 in Creston, Iowa. She attended the University of Chicago from 1904 to 1908, graduating with a Bachelor of Science, and returned to do graduate work in 1924. During her undergraduate years, Jameson played on the women's basketball team and served on the Literature College Executive Committee. Jameson died in July 1965. Her collection comprises a single scrapbook of materials from her undergraduate years at UC. It includes correspondences, photographs, and various ticket stubs, programs, pins and clippings.
