New Leaves
UChicago has long been a top academic destination for Korean international students. SK and KFAS founder Chey Jong-hyon and his son, current SK chairman, Chey Tae-won both studied at the university, and today, with generous ongoing support from KFAS, talented Korean students continue to enroll at UChicago in many fields of study. The students in this case represent the diverse research interests of some of the current UChicago Fellowship cohort members pursuing PhDs.
