Style Notes for Korean Names
In print, the order of names in Korean differs from that in English. In Korean, traditionally, family surnames appear first, followed by the given first names. In this exhibit, names are presented based on each individual’s preferred spelling and order. When citing Korean-language publications, names are written according to the McCune–Reischauer Korean romanization system.
