Influential Seeds
Korean students have a long history of enrollment at the University of Chicago. Studying a range of subjects, they have prepared themselves for achievements in diverse careers. Many of the early study-abroad students came to the United States with assistance from North American missionaries and were influenced to major in theology and medicine. Students highlighted in this case represent a larger body of early Korean international students at UChicago and demonstrate their varied academic paths and careers.
