Library funds open access publishing options for students, faculty, and staff
The University of Chicago Library holds agreements with publishers that allow UChicago students, faculty, and staff who are the corresponding author of an article to publish an unlimited number of articles as open access without paying article processing charges (APCs). These agreements, covering journals in many disciplines across the humanities, sciences, and social sciences, make information freely available around the world, demonstrating the Library's commitment to open and equitable access to the University's research and scholarly work.
The list of publisher agreements we have entered into is available below and is also available from the Library website on Publisher Open Access Agreements.
