The collection includes invitations to inaugural events as well as other events related to the presidency dating from 1861 until 1993. It also includes various memorabilia items related to these events including tickets, dance cards, place cards, menus and programs. Not just an assortment of invitations, one also finds within the collection a personal inscription that might be of interest to researchers. The collection also contains rationing materials (1918, 1940s) from the U.S. Office of Price administration such as books, pamphlets, coupons as related to various different materials rationed.
