Edwin W. Taylor is Professor Emeritus of Molecular Genetics and Cell Biology and Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Louis Block Professor at the University of Chicago. Taylor earned a bachelor's degree in physics and chemistry from the University of Toronto in 1952, a master’s in physical chemistry from McMaster University in 1955, and a PhD in biophysics from the University of Chicago in 1957.
