Robin Lester (1939- ) is a retired professor, headmaster, and author. He received his PhD in history from the University of Chicago in 1974. This collection includes papers related to Lester’s dissertation and his job search during the 1970s. It also includes cassettes with interviews from the Hull House Oral History Project, lead by the Hull House Trustees from Columbia College Chicago. This project was directed by Lester from 1967-1968. The majority of this collection pertains to Lester’s career as an author. These papers include the edits and final manuscript for Lester’s debut novel, Princes of New York. This collection also includes autographed copies of Lester’s publications.
