Biographical Note

William B. Kirkham was a biologist who published research on reproduction of mammals in the early 20th century. Kirkham was affiliated with the laboratories at Yale University. The collection contains copies of published articles on reproduction of mammals, ovulation in rats and mice in particular. In addition to two copies of Kirkham’s own articles and publications by others, the collection includes articles by Carl Moore who worked Professor of Zoology at the University of Chicago.
