Biographical Note

Thomas Brumfield Hill was born in Glen Ellyn, Illinois on March 18, 1920 to Luther Boone Hill and Lena Pearl McCord. He attended the University of Chicago from 1930-1941 before enlisting and serving as a tropical weather forecaster in the Panama Canal in the Army Air Corps. Hill then attended medical school at the University of Chicago from 1946-1950. His father, Luther Boone Hill, also attended the University of Chicago in the 1890s. Thomas Hill passed away on June 11, 2013 in East Lansing, Michigan.
