Scope Note

The collection is comprised primarily of material related to the student movement of the mid-1960s, specifically at the University of California, Berkeley. Included are letters from Mary Lloyd to her parents about the activity on Berkeley’s campus and at other universities during the period. Lloyd attached articles about these events to her letters. The collection also includes publications about the student movement. In addition, the collection contains a letter congratulating to H.K. Lloyd congratulating him on his work with the U.S. Indian Service Bureau.
