This collection contains a copy of 'The Star and Circle' and a scrapbook of clippings, photographs, member lists, and other ephemera compiled by members of Delta Sigma Women's Club at the University of Chicago. Materials date from 1918-1949.

Historical Note

Delta Sigma was a women's social club at the University of Chicago, founded in 1918. While it had a Greek name, the group was not a nationally recognized sorority or a member of the university's inter-club council. The group sponsored parties, dances, and other events on campus.

Scope Note

The collection consists of loose scrapbook leaves with photographs, correspondence, clippings, greeting cards, lists of party guests, invitations, programs and other ephemera.
