Handwritten notes in Latin, taken by John Manning after Hermann Boerhaave, Institutiones Medical, 1708, and Boerhaave, Aphorismi de Cognoscendis et Capandis Morbis, 1709. Inscribed on flyleaf in a later hand: "Written by John Manning, ca. 1753-6." Ex libris: "Norwich & Norfolk United Medical Book Society" and "Presented by the executors of the late Dr. Manning." Bound in 19th-century cloth over paper.
