This collection consists of photographs and typescripts describing Packard airplane engine models 1, 2, and 3, and Liberty-12 airplane engine models A and B. The photographs show the entire engines individually, line them up for comparison, and then show detail for smaller parts of the engines. The last couple of photographs show engines being tested on trucks. Typescript pages bound in front of the photographs describe the engines and the various tests applied to them. At the back of the volume is a listing of 73 features of the Packard engines. The main aim of the volume is to compare Packard and Liberty engines.
