The Chicago Weekly News launched in 1996. This collection consists of approximately 2700 black and white photo negatives from the Chicago Weekly News’s photo archive taken between May 1996 and October 1997. The majority of the negatives include the name of the photographer, the subject, and date of the photograph. Many of the photographs are attributed to Brian Morrison, a Chicago-based photographer.
