John Boop received his MBA from the University of Chicago in 1968. He then worked in university development from 1970-1974. Boop went on to work for President Gerald Ford and his family from 1993-2016. The collection consists of a note former university President Robert M. Hutchins sent to Boop following an event Boop organized at the Center for the Study of Democratic Institutes, a pennant Hutchins gifted Boops, and a button.
