| Abstract: | William Ralph Hutton received his A.B. from Southwestern University in 1912, and was a graduate of the University of Chicago Divinity School, where he wrote works on the development of Islam and Buddhism. He served as a Christian missionary in Assam, in northeast India, where he wrote a Mikir.English dictionary, and appears to have translated both the Bible and Pilgrims Progress into Mikir. The collection consists primarily of bound materials, which have been heavily annotated. |
